Levlen is a combination birth control pill. It works by preventing ovulation, altering the cervical mucus, and changing the lining of the uterus.

Mechanism of Action

Getting in a woman's body, with the drug substance is slowing ovulation and changes the uterine lining, thereby blocks the already fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
